This fireplace makeover called for finishing touches as beautiful and textural as it turned out!

Style tips:
▪️Neutral pieces with beautiful texture or interesting details (like rattan wrapped handles) elevate while still feeling calm.
▪️When styling shelves, scale up in size and leave some room to breathe. I always prefer fewer, larger pieces that give impact over visual clutter.
▪️Create harmony by carrying a palette consistently throughout a display. Here, we balanced our use of black and white/ivory between the shelves so it doesn’t feel heavy.
▪️Compositionally, play with different groupings of 1-3 on each shelf, and make sure not to repeat from shelf to shelf.
▪️Rugs can add the perfect amount of pattern to finish a neutral space.
▪️Bonus: easy care rugs are looking and feeling better, and easier to find! 🙌🏼

Cozy layers perfect for the change in weather. 🍁 These neutral pieces are my personal favorite, and they transition beautifully from season to season. ✨

Layering tips:
▪️Don’t be afraid to play with pattern! Just ensure that there is common ground with at least one element, whether it’s color, scale, etc.
▪️Coffee table books make the best layers. They come in every size and color to complement (or color pop!) your decor.
▪️Invest in good pillows. The hand and the fill make all the difference. Rule of thumb: inserts should be one size bigger than the covers themselves for maximum fluffing!
▪️Chunky chenille throws are universal perfection! Take them with you from the sofa to the master and everywhere in-between.
▪️I always love adding crystals for the energy they bring, in addition to their beauty. Shop local wherever possible.

▪️Don’t be afraid to try custom! We found a fabric we loved and maker on Etsy who did a beautiful job creating this custom bench cushion for a fair price. 🙌🏼
