The Bixie Cut 5-Minute Styling Routine ✂️✨

If you have a bixie cut (or you're thinking about getting one), this is the exact routine that makes it look effortless every single morning. Here's everything I use, step by step:

STEP 1 — PROTECT
Before any heat, I apply the Wavytalk Smooth Barrier Heat Protectant and work a drop of Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil through the ends. This combo protects against heat damage and adds the most beautiful shine.

STEP 2 — BLOW DRY + SHAPE
I rough dry first, then use the Volgtia Hair Dryer with the Drybar Half Pint Round Brush to add shape and lift at the roots. This is the step that gives the bixie its signature volume and movement.

STEP 3 — DEFINE + FINISH
I work a small amount of R+Co Aircraft Pomade Mousse through the ends for piece-y texture, then hit it with Navy Hair Care Dry Texture Spray for grip and volume. Finish with ECRU Sunlight Finishing Spray to lock everything in place with a natural, lived-in hold.

FOR EXTRA POLISH:
On days I want a smoother finish, I run the Wavytalk Thermal Brush through or use the Ella Bella Flat Iron to flip the ends slightly. The Mise En Scene Perfect Serum and Living Proof No Frizz Weightless are both incredible for taming flyaways without weighing fine hair down.
