5/5 Fantastic book! I loved how detailed the author was at describing the Alaskan landscape and it really made you feel like you were going through the seasons and emotions with the characters. The thickness of the book was a little intimidating but I am so shocked at how quick I flew through it! Made me cry more than a few times towards the end and there were a few parts too where I couldn’t put the book down. Makes me want to travel to Alaska and really see and compare to what the author describes the landscape and living up there. Excited to read more of the author’s books!
