Here I added wood paneling and beams to the ceiling, mixed poufs, mixed throw pillows, added velvet curtains, and made sure my decor was all different materials to give it the feel of clean while also cozy!

Time to dine! This dining room is inviting and warm because I used all natural elements. The floating shelves are wood (same exact wood I used on the ceiling), the dining table is cement, the chairs are woven and wood, and the greenery decor are real preserved stems! Nature gets the credit for why this is so beautiful!

Cozy bedroom vibes are about stacking textures but also not going to wild with over decorating. The back wall moulding is busy so I kept it simple and open with a console table and poufs. The ceiling is busy so I kept the bedding white and clean. It’s all about balance folks!

When you get ready in your bathroom but aren’t ever ready to leave. I’m obsessed with these natural stone sinks. It gives it that spa feeling, along with the rolled towels! Also fun, I mixed metals. So the sconces and shower hardware is all matte black but the sink faucet and drawer hardware is antique brass. Don’t be afraid to mix it up, makes your primary bathroom feel more custom!

Living room from episode 3 of ‘Home in a Heartbeat with Galey Alix’ on HBO MAX! I created this sophisticated yet cozy space for my bachelor friend Dan so that he has a place to entertain friends & family now that he’s becoming an empty nester. The key was adding extra seating, mixing the poufs and throw pillows, and making sure the ceiling had wood paneling AND beams. Lots of activity up there! 💗
