Every year, we kick off the first day of school with a big, beautiful breakfast. 🍎✨ And even though we homeschool now, we decided that tradition was one thing we wouldn’t change. In fact, we lean into it even more—making it special, exciting, and something the kids can truly look forward to as we start our school year. With all the back-to-school buzz and excitement happening everywhere this time of year, I want my kids to feel that same joy in our home. That’s why we go all out—school-themed décor, individual place settings for each child, fun little details that make them smile, and yes… balloons! 🎈 I usually set everything up the night before so that when the kids wake up on the first day of homeschool and come downstairs for breakfast, they’re greeted with a space that feels magical. It’s a moment we all look forward to, and I love seeing their faces light up. This little tradition has become such a sweet way to mark the start of a new chapter each year.
