We surprised our daughter with a room make over for her 6th birthday!! She went to her grandma’s house and we flipped the room in one day! Including painting the room purple!

We painted these shelves from goodwill the same color as the wall paint. Everyone has been commenting they really like that look!

Most of this stuff was bought used or gifted to our daughter. But I did link what I found stuff on the market.

The canvases were all from Goodwill but I found matches where I could. I also added some other cool canvases. The canvas collage reminds me of the 90s and early 2000s when we had posters and magazine pages all over our walls. My daughter is 6 years old so we went for her loves unlike my other baby’s nursery where it is more aesthetic.

Because she is 6 we took my grandpa’s old broken computer and spray painted it. Then we put a dry erase background on the screen and purchased her some dry erase chalk markers. She loves using the computer pretending to “go to work” or playing school or library with her friends.

We also got these really cool sparkle markers for her. They are silver in the center and then outlined in the colored marker as she colors.

The flamingo basket was from goodwill, but I found one for sale.

The cat journal was also goodwill but I found some similar ones that are fun for kids and encourages them to write!

The K-pop journal was new on our Mall of America vacation. (Vacay details on the blog GetDressedMidwest.com) If you have a K-pop fan this is a fun one!!

The desk here was my husband’s as a kid. We refinished it to match her bed set using the Retique It Liquid Wood that has gone viral

The curtain supplies

Curtains are easy to clean so if you can thrift them I say do it!!

I could not find curtains for her room at the thrift store but I did find the curtain lights at Goodwill. Thursday-Sunday they do 50% off a colored sticker and they also send out coupons if you join their GoodDeals club.
