Santa's Favorite Cookie Recipe.
3/4 c. Powder sugar
3/4 c. Regular sugar
1 c. Soften butter unsalted
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 egg
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
In large bowl sift together flour baking soda, cream of tarter, salt, baking powder
In separate bowl mix together powder sugar, regular sugar, butter, vanilla almond extract
Add egg to sugar mixture - combine Slowly add flour mixture - combine
Pour dough out onto plastic wrap
Roll into log- wrap in plastic wrap place in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight
On floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Use favorite cookie cutters to make cookies. Place on parchment lined baking sheet- leave space around each cookie. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes.
Let cool completely before frosting
