When I want a lighter option outside of foundation, I always go to the Danessa Myricks yummy serum skin tint. It’s so good coverage wise and it feels super lightweight. It perfect for those days you want to go more natural!

The E.L.F camo color corrector is a staple in my makeup kit because it’s good & affordable. I use it EVERY-TIME I do my makeup.
Sometimes you’ll notice a grey cast underneath your undereye concealer and that’s because you aren’t using a color corrector. The orange cancels out darkness and balances the skin tone for an even palette before applying foundation and concealer.

When was the last time you did something for the 1st time?

Over the weekend I was honored to attend an Indian wedding ceremony with a friend of mine & I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

We attended the final 2 days of week long festivities. The wedding ceremony & the reception.

The nights were filled with blessing & vow rituals, extravagant Indian tradition attire, delicious & authentic Indian cuisine, and rooms filled with love, laughter, & lots of dancing.

I must admit that the saree I’m wearing gave me a run for my money! The intricacies of pleating the fabric is NO JOKE & takes some serious skill.

I wasn’t able to get it right & I just knew that I would be laughed at, instead I was met with much appreciation & gratitude for even trying! I’m so thankful to a gracious woman who helped wrap & pleat it right once we got there.

She did it with such patience and made it look so easy. Once she got me together though I felt sooo much better! (The pics are AFTER she did it for me) ☺️

This was an experience I’ll never forget. I’m thankful to the bride & groom (and my friend for inviting me as her +1) for allowing me to celebrate alongside them on their special day!

Hopefully this encourages you to meet new people and do new things. The world is a beautiful melting pot of so many cultures & traditions. It’s fascinating to see them up close & personal.

Ever moved somewhere new (or went on a trip) & your skin betrayed you? Yeah, me too. 😒

Yall, ever since I moved, my skin has been going THROUGH IT!

- New environment
- Stress
- Different water (This Texas water is different 😩)

All of it started showing up in my face! I’ve noticed more breakouts, dullness, and some discoloration that wasn’t there before.

When your skin is adjusting to a new climate, it’s really your barrier screaming for HELP! So right now I’m focusing on getting back to the basics.

- Hydration
- Consistency

Lately I’ve been loving the @abib.global Jericho Rose Collagen Gel Patches. The Jericho Rose extract helps the skin to retain moisture, while the collagen adds a plump, revived look and supports elasticity.

They have been clutch for calming my stressed skin & reviving my under eyes as I get used to my new environment.

Let’s not forget to mention that I’m a STAN for Korean skincare! They just do it right.

Ever since I’ve gotten this patio/balcony set from Amazon I’ve been on my balcony chilling! The sizing is perfect for a balcony or smaller patio, the cushions are soft and the added bonus of it being rocking chairs sealed the deal for me. The table top is made of tempered glass and can be turned either way for a black matte finish or black shiny finish.
The neutral colors go well with any decor. Perfect to sit out on a cozy fall morning or night

I’m in love with the vanity my daughter picked for her new bedroom. It’s a great size and comes with the bench. Power strip attached for easily plugging up devices or hair dryers, flat irons etc. Drawers & cabinets along with shelves providing ample space for storing whatever her heart desires. The lights also have different warmth settings and can dim for less brightness. I highly recommended!

The best gift I’ve gotten this year! If you’re a coffee lover like me, the Ninja grounds & pods coffee maker should be in your possession! It takes k-cups as well as coffee grounds, I appreciate having the option to choose. It also has an attached frother which is my favorite because I can’t count how many frothers I’ve been through honestly! It’s super user friendly and easy to use.
