In today’s world most people are deficient in magnesium so that is why it is at the top of my list. B Vitamins B vitamins can be so helpful for regulating anxiety. Stress on the body depletes the body of B vitamins, hence why if you are anxious all the time or going through a period of stress, you may be low in B vitamins. Specifically B5 can help with healthy cortisol levels; hence why it can help with anxiety. If your cortisol levels are out of whack you will be feeling anxious for sure. B5 can help with that. Ashwaghanda Ashwaghanda is an adaptogenic herb that can help the body better react to stressors. Anxiety is a stress on our immune system, body and mind; ashwaghanda can help your body better cope and react to this stress. Omega 3 The modern day diet is very low in omega 3’s and very high in omega 6’s. While it is possible to get this all from your diet from omega 3 rich foods, there have been studies released that having higher levels of omega 3 can help with anxiety and depression. L-theanine This is another one I LOVE when going through a stressful time. L-theanine is a calm supplement that can help our body relax in times of high stress.
