I designed this space to be truly multipurpose, and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it. I wanted beautiful cabinetry, a spot for the kids to hang their backpacks after school, a workspace by a big window to let the light in, and plenty of countertop space for folding laundry. The herringbone floors added the perfect touch. I debated adding a sink but decided against it and honestly, no regrets!

 We did this in the middle of Covid when prices were lower, so it’s definitely more expensive now.

Your best bet? Call a local glass company and ask if they can install a mirrored backsplash, most can!
