One of my Christmas favorite traditions with the kids - a giant cardboard coloring house! I usually buy mine as soon as I see it because they sell out so fast.

What to buy our baby boomer parents ✨💙🏆 Want to know why it’s hard to buy for them?

It’s hard to buy for this generation because they already have everything. They grew up in the golden age of catalogs, bought all the gadgets as they hit the market, and now they’ve retired with fully-stocked McMansions. Every time you ask what they want, they shrug and say, “Oh, we don’t need anything!” Meanwhile, they’re ordering something off QVC before you even leave the room.

What I use and how I dye my eye brows at home 🏡

This was recommended to me by a fellow red head and HER stylist.

You need four products:
1. Developer
2. Color agent (I use light brown 3.1 🤎)
3. Vaseline
4. Eye brow brush

Mix a dime size of each the developer and color agent in a glass dish. Swipe Vaseline around your eye brows - this keeps it from staining your skin. Using the eye brow brush, brush the dye onto each eye brow. Wait 10-12 min (start on the lower time limit). Wipe off dye with a damp cotton round until clean.

Repeat every 3-4 weeks.

I’ve been so inspired lately and drew up this future room for my boys. As most of you know, we are working with a designer in the main area of our home. She has really helped me better define my style and get our house back on track. This shared boys room has ticking stripe twin beds, my favorite antelope wool rug (so durable!) plus some fancy designer lamps I scored at an estate sale as well as this antique campaign dresser I’ve had for years.

Love your favorites for this week. I didn’t hype the Nordstrom sale or prime day so wasn’t sure what this week would look like.

1. Divided drawer bin by the home edit at the container store (I love using these in the fridge.
2. The Dyson Airwrap dupe continues to be a hair tool favorite. I got to use a real Dyson Airwrap last weekend in Denver and learned some great techniques I’ll share with you soon. So glad I spent $30 rather than $800.
3. Day planners a re hot this time of year and these by day designer are popular vertical planners.
4. The nursing cart continues to be a favorite. We’ve used ours as worn out cart, art cart and more!
5. The Erin gates momeni herringbone rug has been a favorite for years. It’s performance grade and stains come up so easily. This is a great dupe to the Ballard designs herringbone rug.
6. This striped ottoman is so stylish and a great price point. We had it at our last house and was very kid friendly.
7 & 8. Storage tray drawer organizers in a variety of sizes for only $2 per set

I’m sure your social media is flooded with sale items from prime day, the Nordstrom anniversary sale and target circle week. I want to recommend the one item I’d buy (if I didn’t already own and love it!) from Amazon this week.

This deep cleaner has gotten everything off of my carpet and furniture. From red wine to pet messes to kid food stains, I’ve never had something I couldn’t remove. And the best part: I’ve never used more than warm water to do it!

This machine penetrates deep, is easy to use and simple to clean. Don’t sleep on this deal, it’s the lowest I’ve ever seen it

Here are your favorite item from this week! I love that we are starting to see some choices for fall clothing. I know it’s hard to shift gears to fall when it’s 90 degrees out but the wool skirt and long sleeve top are such great staples for the upcoming season.

This backyard pool is also a great buy right now to take you through the end of summer - it’s over 50% off at Walmart! I also love to see the planners for the academic year. This one was a favorite both this year and last.
