We have had this rug in our back foyer for two years now. This is our highest traffic area and this rug still looks new. It’s affordable AND durable. I am looking at using same rug in a different pattern for our back porch. I love it that much!

Emerson and I headed to the lake for a little overnight mom-daughter trip. It felt so great to be back. Tidied up the foyer a bit while we were there and can’t wait to continue working on the home this summer.

One key element that I recommend looking for when purchasing artificial stems is the shape that they create. When they naturally want to hang or drape over the edge of a vase/vessel (and in an asymmetric shape), it creates a more realistic look.

Emerson had a desk on her Christmas list so I was thrilled to have found this adorable desk and stool set! The scalloped detail is so sweet and she loves having somewhere to display her little pottery pieces.

After printing these Polaroids of my kids, I wanted to figure out a way to keep them out. After finding these brass boxes, I knew that the smaller one would make the perfect home for these images. Love that they are on display but also incorporated into the coffee table decor.
