One of my favorite purchases is hands down our bedroom rug. I bought this almost four years ago and want to tell you that it shows ZERO signs of wear. It’s been amazing. I love the simplicity of the design and how it adds subtle texture to a space.

Our family room rug is part of Wayfair’s “Way Day” sale and the price is incredible. The 9x12 is less than $300…$268 to be exact! I read it three times just to be sure that was reading it correctly. It’s an indoor/outdoor rug and after months in a high traffic area, shows not one sign of wear. Cannot recommend it enough!

When we moved in, Emerson’s room was still a nursery or sorts. When it came time to modify it as she grew up, I struggled. Tried different color schemes, added various elements. Nope. Couldn’t get it right. This room took me years to figure out but now that it’s finally done, it’s quite possibly my favorite room. 🤍 I suppose the lesson here is to have patience. It will come together.

I have a couple of changes on the horizon in this space…the first one being that I am finally adding drapery. Cannot wait to see how it softens the wall with the two sets of double doors. Just a reminder to think outside of the box when it comes to design. For example, our kitchen table is actually an outdoor table but I absolutely loved the concrete top so, for us, it’s an indoor table. It’s been great because it’s so durable because it was built to withstand the elements. A definite win with two young kids!
