You asked for it - More budget friendly and easy DIY projects. I’ve talked about this wall treatment I did going up my stairs but never went into too much detail, so here goes!

- No power tools required but if you have a saw or nail gun you can use them.
- Choose the trim you like and measure it out on the wall using blue tape (a must)!
- there is a hand tool called a trim cutter that can be used for thinner type of trim like this. (I’ll show you on stories).
- after you cut the pieces then paint them before you put on the wall so all you have to do is patch a few nails. However, if you are painting the wall an entirely new color then you can paint all of it after you add the wall treatment.
- you can use Liquid Nails and hold in place with blue tape for atleast 24 hours. I would also recommend putting small nails on corners and or middle depending on how long the pieces are you are working with.
- do touch ups and you are good to go!

Wow you guys blew me away with all of the love on the garage gym reveal yesterday! Thank you so much. I read and try to respond to every single comment. In case I missed you here are the top 5 questions I received:

1. Are you a designer? Yes, I only take on a handful of projects at a time to prevent burnout and I don’t want to lose passion for something I love so much. So I don’t really advertise it so much because word of mouth has kept me pretty busy but reach out if you have a project I may like! I just hired an assistant;)
2. Can you link all of the products? Yes, I uploaded them to my LTK and included the link here!
3. Did you build a wall? Yes, we built a wall to cover the water heater and water purification system. It made such a difference in cleaning up the space.
4. How big is the mirror? It’s 7’w x 4’h and it was a frameless mirror that I framed with wood trim from @lowes and spray painted glossy black.
5. What color paint? I used Tricorn Black with a Flat finish from @sherwinwilliams.

Maybe I’m in my 40’s and I just don’t give a shit! Or maybe those Covid workouts really paid off. Or the spray tan was so good it camouflaged my wrinkly skin from my two beautiful babies! Either way no matter what size or shape we are we all have our insecurities but I say wear the damn bikini!!
