This years hydrangea tree… I was really inspired by the way @eyeswoon used amaranth extended out on branches a couple years ago and thought of using it as a garland around the tree. My hydrangeas looked too stark next to the deep burgundy amaranth so I lightly spray painted them with some pink. I added seeded eucalyptus and some burgundy fall stems from @traderjoes and there you have it! I still love the simplicity of last year’s tree (last picture) and I love the drama the amaranth adds this year! What do you think? botanicalchristmastree whimsicaldecor oldhouselove
