It’s s the season where hoyaretusa will flower. It needs cool night time temperatures to trigger the blooms. This unique looking hoya is sometimes called grassyhoya and what I love more than the adorable grassy looking leaves is the tiny little heart shape at the tip of the leaves. 💚 Have you noticed this design on the leaves before? Liz’s personal experience only…every environment is different: 🪴Light: A little farther away from the grow light than others 🪴Water: when dry 🪴Avg Temp last 30 days: 68F 🪴Relative Humidity last 30 days: 45% 🪴Fussy: not for me 🪴Rate of growth: medium 🪴Rareness: common 🪴Growing Medium: cactus soil (comment “shop” for a direct link) 🪴Fertilizer frequency: I use a nutrient diverse fertilizer that is perfect for Hoyas! I use it about every other watering while I’m seeing active growth. I stop if the plant is in doors. This fertilizer contains macro & micronutrients, it’s the best I’ve found for hoyas!🪴(comment “shop” below if you’d like a link sent to you). 🪴Rooting Method: coco coir 🪴Time In My Care: 3.5 years 🪴Would Liz recommend this one: yes. It’s so unique.
