I absolutely love my Hoya thomsonii splash so when I was presented with the opportunity to buy a Hoya thomsonii silver I jumped at it! I’ve been eyeing a silver form of Hoyat homsonii ever since I started collecting Hoyas and they just don’t seem to be available often. I’m so glad I’ve took the opportunity to add this one with stable silver to my collection!!! Liz’s personal care experience only…every environment is different: 🪴Name: Hoya thomsonii silver 🪴Light: grow lights in south window 🪴Water: when dry 🪴Avg Temp last 30 days: 74F 🪴Relative Humidity last 30 days: 45% 🪴Fussy: not for me 🪴Rate of growth: medium 🪴Rareness: thomsonii is not uncommon, but the silver form is not often available keeping it kind of rare. 🪴Pot size: 2 oz cup 🪴Fertilizer: I apply a nutrient-rich fertilizer tailored for Hoyas approximately every other watering when the plant isn’t dormant. It’s packed with essential macro and micronutrients, it’s the best I’ve found for hoyas! 🪴Rooting Method: in my custom coco coir mix in a clear plastic prop box on top of a heat mat, under a strong grow light. But I got this one In fluval stratum, and I’ll be moving it to coco coir soon. 🪴Time In My Care: 5 months 🌸Age until 1st bloom: none yet 🪴Would Liz recommend this one: 100% YES! I love the fuzzy leaves and the blooms smell wonderful! ilovehoyas hoyacollector hoyahead hoyaappreciation hoyacollection plantsmakemehappy ihavethisthingwithplants hoya easilydistractedbyplants LTKFindsUnder50 LTKFindsUnder100 LTKHome
