Don't skip this step before painting your new build walls 👀🫶🏾 Typically, you don't need to prime walls that have already been painted. Since this is a new construction home, we felt the walls weren't properly painted, so we decided to prime them ourselves before we added new paint. We used ProBlock Premium Water-Based Primer from Sherwin Williams and Purdy rollers for smooth coverage. To protect our existing carpet, we covered everything with builder's paper from @lowes Lowe’s before getting started. We want to pick up the carpet eventually, but that’s for another day!
