Sometimes it’s a little tweak that changes the outfit but other times we need to fully rethink the outfit.

In this outfit I had to fully rethink as the dress is simply too snug over my tummy.

As this is a blazer dress it was an easy change. As I had already bought the matching trousers it was a case of simply using the dress as a suit. I added a shirt, a belt and a bag and last changed the chunky boots to a slimmer fitting heel for that polished look.

Faux fur has been around longer than I have I’d say but it’s having a trending moment right now. I have always shied away as I was afraid of the extra bulk, making me look more top heavy and bulky than I naturally am, however this year I decided to try the trend.. and boy am I glad I did. With pieces being in trend, there are so many more options in the shops and finding the right piece, becomes so much easier. This jacket DOES add bulk, but i am no longer afraid of a different silhouette.
I am who I am and I’m damn proud of the girl I see in the mirror.

Not my usual go too as I rarely wear print but this zebra skirt is to cute to pass up. This skirt is quickly selling out but it Also comes in brown and the fit is amazing for us apple shapes as it has a great structure to it. I’m in love 😍 (and if a skirt isn’t got you, I linked a few other zebra pieces too)
