Trying a different silhouette today. A bit more boxy than what I normally do but I really like it and it’s always fun to play with old pieces.

Don’t be scared of trying new silhouettes. The funnel neck is a massive trend for autumn and yes, I am here for it.. even if it isn’t the most “flattering” neckline on me.
I’m loving it 💖

Size has nothing to do with style. Your body is not the enemy 💖

Being an Apple shape is rarely seen as something beautiful these days. Being plus size has now again become a bad thing. The body positive movement seem to have disappeared of the grid and we are left with the feeling that we are all alone again. Us plus people had our moment but with the rise of weight loss drugs we all now need to be slim..

So I’m simply here to tell you that your body is not the problem and if you struggle with style as an Apple shape.. I’m here for you ❤️

The best pieces in our wardrobes are the ones that instantly fills us with ideas. When you can see the possibilities and the many ways to style it.. that’s when you know you have found a piece that will be with you for a very long time 💖

Age is not a factor when it comes to style. So wear what you love and what makes you happy and simply celebrate and embrace your age 💖

I am NOT trying to hide who I am or trying to pretend I’m not plus size.. I am simply packing my biggest insecurity away so I don’t spend all day worrying about it..

Learning to dress our body should not be to “look slimmer” or “get smaller”. It should be to bring our best assets and our confidence to the forefront.

I do understand that not everyone wants to tuck their top. I KNOW how scary it is to even contemplate at first.

If however you want to work towards it, a top like this one is a great start. You do first need to consider how well you want to disguise your tummy. For me it’s always wideleg as there is no tummy in sight.. and after that, pick your top.

What to look for: something that isn’t too long so you keep the rule of thirds in place. Something that is sewn to give you natural curves. Something that sit and skim your body, snug but not tight.

The one i am wearing here is rather low cut but I fixed it with a safely pin. It’s
