The shorts of summer have arrived 🤍

I am thrilled with these shorts they fit my smaller waist and accommodate my 🍑

Linking all of the things I’m packing for this year‘s trip to Key West any tropical beach vacation needs these items take it from me as someone who was born and raised in south of Florida and lives on the water!

Living on a boat, your entire vacation makes for some very specific outfit, beauty, and practical items that make it into the suitcase!

A number one thing people forget is a rain jacket. You never know what the weather is going to be like on your way down or on the way up and getting stuck on the boat getting drenched in the rain is never fun for anybody I don’t care who you are. I love my free fly rain jacket. I have it in a size medium and it’s so light and breathable, but protects me from getting drenched.

What I actually pack for a week boating in the Florida Keys 🌴

After doing this trip year after year, I’ve figured out the few things I genuinely won’t go without — a good sun hat, real water sunglasses, simple SPF that works, and pieces I can wear from the boat straight to dinner.

This isn’t a “perfect vacation wardrobe”… it’s what actually gets used.

I don’t know what’s happening in the universe but I have found ANOTHER pair of denim shorts for the summer!!! AND they’re on sale 🥰 I’m wearing a size small and bought both the denim and the white and I’m in love with them. The stretchy waist band is comfortable and the pockets are a plus

Can not believe I found white shorts that fit me at target yesterday AND they’re on sale 😱 I’m wearing a size 4

Also discovered this free people stretchy tank that really flatters my shape - plus it’s stretchy I’m wearing a m/l

This feels like such a great summer uniform!

I was actually so annoyed that these hose reels were the first thing jermey bought for the new house. Now a year later I have a to admit they’re amazing 🫠😅

they are so sturdy and have held up under the Florida heat like champions! We also opted for the cover to protect them and I would recommend this 10 out of 10.

As the plant lady who uses this almost dolly, I guess these are one of the splurges I have to be grateful my husband bought and he was right 😅

My work in progress moody, organic, modern, coastal office! I am so inspired by the Studio McGee office photo. Now I am trying to blend this into my own home look. Looking forward to getting my samples of the William Sonoma Radius wood color in the mail in a few days. Does anyone else order samples for color purposes?

The other thing are my olukai sneakers I LOVE these - and another pair of sandals I own. Such a comfortable shoe and for me the slip on is the ultimate chaotic but thriving girl solution 👟 I’m wearing a size 9.5 - the main issue with Ola Kai is that they’re sizing is so inconsistent so if you have a store to try them on, I would highly recommend! I sized up half a size

These are a great temporary fix for our front doors. No drilling is required! I wanted to see how it felt to attach curtains to the door vs to the frame. For $17 these linen curtains are a steal! This is the color Natural

My 5x7 ruggable rug is from COSTCO and I got it for a steal at $135! I did link the exact pattern on the ruggable website but they did not have this color wave

Lattes at home taste better and cost less 🤍 I perfected my home routine and am linking the things I use every afternoon at 2 pm to make my latte treat!

I definitely use my Phillips espresso machine four times a day. It’s been worth every single penny and I will never go back to another pod style coffee machine. (I owned a Nespresso and used it religiously for the last eight years) being able to purchase my own coffee has saved us so much money!

Does anyone else just have a random half of a lemon sitting in their fruit crisper in the fridge? These fruit and veggie containers are the most useful housewarming gift I’ve ever received!

Save your half fresh cut fruit, or veggie by choosing which size container will fit and just slide on the lid

Save this if you’re researching trellis gardening! My number one piece of advice is to pre-plan your Wall so you will know how many eye hooks you will need to purchase 🤍

We started investing in our Sonos products a few years ago and would never consider another speaker system! Our Sonos move is perfect for poolside music since it’s mobile! We love the clarity and the ability to synch with the rest of our home speakers for a continuous vibe indoors and outdoors

We’ve had these chairs for a year now and I wish I would’ve covered them earlier on. If you live in a windy area, then I would highly recommend a heavier umbrella stand as well! This one is 26 pounds and some days the umbrella does go flying 🤣

This is my go to hair style and the curls last in our Florida heat! For reference I have thick coarse hair to start with 🥹😅

I knew that the front of our house needed a little bit of character and this white empty wall was screaming a jasmine trellis in my head. I also knew I wanted the entrance to bring a coastal calmness when people came over so a little water feature in the front was also on my vision board. I was able to pick up this fountain on Wayfair last year and it has done the job perfectly. It’s made out of 100% cement so I know it’s going to stand the test of time through Florida hurricanes! All we did was pick up a timer and we enjoy this peace and tranquility out front of our house from 8 AM to 5 PM. I’ve linked our fountain, timer, and all the tools we used to build our jasmine wall.

I did so much research for this jasmine wall. It’s very important that you don’t buy a trellis kit from Amazon because you need the eye hooks to be at least 2 inches away from the wall to allow the jasmine to breathe.

Sharing my simple makeup routine for anyone looking for easy summer makeup that is lightweight for Florida heat!

If there is anything in this routine you buy make it the Butter Glow & Go stick (I’m using color sun-kissed rose) it’s so easy and creamy and adds just enough color!

It’s about time I invest in some staple jewelry pieces! I am loving my Kendra Scott items which you can see I wear for date nights ➡️ running errands. There’s something about adding sparkle to each outfit to feel complete 🤍

The handmixer you didn’t know you needed. I use this to make all my dressings, marinades, jams, anything that needs mixing to thicken, soups, etc. she’s a workhorse in the kitchen.
