Ever since I got my colors done by and learned I was a warm autumn I’ve been avoiding wearing the color black. I was packing for a New York trip this weekend and wanted to wear a pant look but only had these tailored pants from Abercrombie I purchased a couple of years ago before I knew better. Luckily for us warm autumn’s wearing black doesn’t mean never, it just means being strategic.

The pants were far enough away from my face, so it didn’t really clash with my features and I brightened up the whole look by wearing camel and brown. You better believe my next investment will be a pair of tailored pants and a more appropriate warm, autumn shade this season! These are the Abercrombie tailored wide leg pants and a size small

Travel ✈️ day finally feels complete now that I’ve invested in the PERFECT travel bag - the BEIS East to West Tote.

Per usual my QUINCE linen button-down (wearing a medium) is a go to because linen doesn’t have to look perfect so it makes an easy travel fabric & of course my linen denim jeans I’ve been wearing all summer long (size 26)

My olukai slip on leather sneakers are so comfortable and a go to for me time and time again (just size up a half size)

Found a few wardrobe fillers I’ve been on the hunt for and finally pulled the trigger on everything linked here - can’t wait to try on.

I needed a good tailored pair of jeans and I hope these jcrew ones work for $88 or be thrilled ordered a size 27

Shoes were a find on Nordstrom rack - I wanted a short boot and mule for walking and layering on our trip - I am a true 9 in Sam Edelman

The green jacket I finally purchased - this one from jcrew has a synched waist so I bought a medium! Hoping it fits

The cashmere wrap was a splurge but SO beautiful and also 40% off so now was the time to invest in a good piece so I can retire an older polyester blend wrap in the back of my closet

A wardrobe staple! I only wish I had found the Levi’s cinch waist shorts years ago.

I’m wearing a size 26 - they do cinch in about 1/2 an inch on each side and their cotton blend does stretch through out the day

Also I don’t take off my gorjana jewlery and I’m so impressed with their customer service! Well worth the splurge I’ve had these pieces for 3+ years now
