Here are four ways to stop getting in your own way:

1️⃣ Decide and move: Stop waiting to feel ready. Ready is a feeling that follows movement, not a prerequisite for it. Make the decision and take the step today—not tomorrow.

2️⃣ Release perfection: Perfection is just procrastination dressed up nicely. Post it before you overthink it. Send it before you rewrite it. Start before it’s polished. Done > perfect.

3️⃣ Limit the committee: Not everyone needs to vote on your next step. Too many opinions dilute clarity. Choose mentors, not audiences. Move quietly and let the results speak later.

4️⃣ Create micro-wins: Break the big scary thing into tiny doable steps. One small action a day compounds faster than one big action you keep postponing. Show up consistently, and confidence will follow.

You need to begin.

The bookstore is a lot like life itself—a place filled with endless opportunities, stories, and lessons waiting to be discovered.

As I wander through the aisles, I stumble upon books that speak to my soul, a story that inspires me and words that heal wounds I didn’t even know I had.

Life is much the same; it’s about exploring, finding what fuels our happiness, and embracing the things that truly matter. For me, I’ve come to realize the incredible importance of being surrounded by things and people that bring joy and purpose to my life.

One of the greatest blessings in my life is my sister, Angel (@angel_wynn ) who has always been a source of support and inspiration. She reminds me of the beauty in having someone who genuinely believes in you and walks through life with you.

I encourage you to not only pursue the things that light your heart on fire but to also cherish the relationships that nurture your soul. Seek out the stories, hobbies, or passions that make you feel alive, and hold tight to the people who are true friends, the ones who love and encourage you through every chapter of your life.
