2024 Highlights

It has been a transformative year for me and JKE Home Reset. From expanding my team to taking on more projects in both design and organization, it’s been a year filled with challenges, creativity, and incredible growth.

My goal has always been to design spaces that balance heart and function, while implementing the art of luxury home organization. This year, I’ve discovered new ways to seamlessly merge beauty and practicality, ensuring that every project feels intentional, elevated, and uniquely tailored even with the hiccups, setbacks and delays.

This kitchen is unrecognizable! What once felt like cramped and inefficient spaces has become a warm, functional, and beautifully designed home.

Before: The layout made cooking feel chaotic, with limited storage and a lack of flow and so many extra walls. The materials and finishes felt outdated and didn’t reflect the homeowner’s style or needs.

The space features comfortable, durable furniture with plush, stain-resistant fabrics, perfect for busy households with kids. Amber used warm, neutral tones with a splash of color on the walls and cabinetry. Paneling was added to the back wall to enhance texture and depth. Artwork and family photos provide a personal. All the spaces I design involve skill, work and heart, but some projects go well beyond the aesthetics and this space was one of those.

I first met Lori through her daughter, Carrie.

For Mother’s Day in 2023, we had the privilege of creating a new room for Carrie’s girls. At the time, Carrie was battling brain cancer and had limited time left with her family.

Lori, her beautiful mom, was deeply involved in caring for her granddaughters when we crossed paths.

Lori is an incredible mom and grandma who has given so much to her family. When she asked if I would help with her primary bedroom, I was honored to say yes. After all she’s been through this past year, we are so grateful to have been able to create a relaxing space in her home.
