I think the fall garland on the mantle is beautiful, but I’m not willing to garland my mantle for four months of the year. For fall I’m much prefer a contained display of festivity. One that doesn’t threaten collapse or being pulled down by a child. That’s why this bowl is such an amazing find. It’s rustic, so it immediately speaks to fall, and elevate my inexpensive and simplistic fall decor and it stretches a good distance on my mantle, giving it a focal piece without overwhelming the space..
