Homemade two ingredient Gingerbread Ornaments

✨Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups apple sauce
- 1.5 cups ground cinnamon

✨ Directions:

1. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine 1.5 cups of apple sauce and 1.5 cups of ground cinnamon. Stir until you have a dough-like consistency.

2. Prepare to Roll: Place a large piece of parchment paper on your work surface. Sprinkle some additional ground cinnamon on the parchment to help prevent sticking.

3. Roll Out the Dough: Place the dough on the cinnamon-dusted parchment paper. To prevent sticking, place another sheet of parchment paper over the dough. Roll it out to about 3/8 of an inch thick.

4. Cut Out Shapes: Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and use cookie cutters to cut out your desired shapes for the ornaments.

5. Prepare for Hanging: Before baking, take ornament hooks and cut them in half with a wire cutter. Gently press the cut ends into the top of each ornament to create a loop for hanging.

6. Prepare for Baking: Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius).

7. Bake the Ornaments: Carefully transfer the cut-out shapes (still on the parchment paper) onto a baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven for 2 hours.

8. Cool and Dry: After baking, remove them from the oven and immediately place a sheet of parchment paper over the ornaments. Lay another baking sheet on top for a little weight to help them stay flat. Let them cool completely. For best results, let them dry overnight. If you want the ornaments to be firmer, you can add them back in the oven for an extra hour, but this step is optional.

9. Decorate: Once fully cooled, use metallic puffy paint or any other decorations you like to personalize your ornaments.

10. Hang and Enjoy: Once decorated, hang your beautiful gingerbread ornaments on the tree using the hooks and enjoy the wonderful cinnamon aroma filling your home!

I wanted to share a little something I did for my amazing delivery drivers this holiday season. I decided to set up a snack and coffee cart for them, and I’d love to explain why!

First off, these amazing men and women work super hard, especially during the holidays when things get really busy. They’re out there braving the cold, rain, and sometimes even snow, just to get our packages to us on time. I thought a little pick-me-up could go a long way!

I know how nice it is to grab a warm cup of coffee or a tasty snack when you’re on the go. It’s like a little hug in a cup! Plus, it’s a great way to show appreciation for all the hard work they do. I wanted to make their day a bit brighter and let them know that their efforts don’t go unnoticed.

It’s all about spreading some holiday cheer, right? So, if you see a delivery driver out there, maybe take a moment to say thanks or offer a little kindness. It really makes a difference!
