Baby bath essentials I am a sucker for a baby in a cute towel! Go ahead and splurge on the cute baby towel. It’s worth it! We used Tubby Todd products until we had to switch for my oldests skin. She now has to have the most bland bath soap out there. But before that, Tubby Todd was our go to. Smells amazing and is great for kids and babies. The Tubby Todd all over ointment is luxurious. It is so creamy and wonderful to put on your baby after a bath and give a little massage. I like to use this bath flower in the sink. It’s super easy to use and just plops into any sink. You MUST hang it up to dry. Don’t let it dry out on the floor of your tub. It will not dry. I use this Frida scrubber on my kids heads with the soap to help remove cradle cap. Both my first and last babies have had it pretty severe. This is great to have on hand for that. EASY THANKSGIVING CRAFT!

Corn!

My kids are ages 2 - 5 and this was a great craft for all of them. We tried it out today to see how it would work and they want to keep making them.

What you need
7 pipe cleaners
20 beads a strand

Start out by taking 7 pipe cleaners and making them even. Twist the bottom inch and a half together.

Then spread out all the pipe cleaners so it looks like a spider.

I think had them pick 4 colors for each strand. 20 beads on each. I would put 20 in a bowl, have them do one strand and then have them pick the next 20 for the next strand.

Once all the beads are on fold them back on themselves so the twisted part is in the middle.

Take one of the pipe cleaners at the top and twist it around so the top stays together.

Voila…corn

My 2 year old did 2 strands by himself and then had me do the rest.

Toddler Boy Gift Guide

These are toys my son plays with daily. Every single one every single day! I wanted to a round up of the most used toys we have to spread to other littles.

The slide is hands down the most used toy we have ever owned. I have it in the house a lot and all 3 kids love it!

My son loves trains! If you have a boy or girl that love trains, get a train table and a couple sets. Again, all 3 of our kids use this daily.

At first we did not know there were battery operated trains and that has been a game changer in our home! Now we can only buy ones that have batteries.

We love the Brio train sets. You can buy a beginner set and then just keep adding sets to it. We are constantly changing our configurations.

Tiles! My son was the first to really enjoy these. Once he started getting into them, then my girls did. Now we have 3 or 4 sets and it still feels like we need more. Definitely buy the Picasso tiles. They are the exact same as the Magnatiles but a much better price!

Piggy pile up! This is such a random one but it was such a hit with him! You just pile the pigs on top of each other and try to get all of them. It actually is really fun and my husband and I love doing it too.

Bikes and scooters! My son still rides his little white scooter bike but is using his balance bike more and more. I cannot believe how fast he can go on it. It has been a big hit in our house!

When I saw her collection with Pottery Barn I was obsessed. Such adorable patterns for a girls room. I hunted down for months looking for a bookshelf just like the one she created. I mean I spent some serious hours and then gave up because I couldn’t find the perfect one.

I’ve been on the hunt for toys that my kids love to play with and these are a couple that really hold their attention.

While on a plane I don’t like to bring a ton of toys because they usually like playing with a cup instead. But I like to have a couple handy just in case.

These puffy sticker books keep my girls entertained for long periods of time. They are the only sticker books to do that.

Polly pocket holds a special place in my heart. My mom used to get them for me on plane rides.

Small cars are great and easy to play with.

A round up of some adorable back to school girl dresses. I tent to just look for dresses for my girls because that is all they have worn for the past two years.

I kid you not they have not worn pants, shorts or jammies. They just wear dresses.

My oldest asked to put on shorts for the first time this past week and all I have are size 2T because that’s the last time she wore them…she is almost 5.

Her younger sister jumped on the bandwagon of only wearing dresses because that’s all she saw

So it’s about time I start looking for some cute ones for her.

Okay I love this stroller so much! When I found out I was pregnant with our second we had a Thule jogger. I immediately returned that one and bought this stroller. I love how well it turns. It is so easy to walk with and not put that much effort into turning or keeping straight.

I have yet to find a door it doesn’t fit into.

The only issue I would have with it would be weight but I don’t know many other double strollers that are that much less weight

When we started down the eczema journey for our daughter it was a long one. There are so many irritants in our world right now and you have to find things to help protect her skin from them.

We were recommended to get mattress and pillow protectors. This helps with dust and dust mites from bothering her skin. Gives her a nice clean bed to lay in at night. We have since bought them for all of our beds.

Sometimes after you have a baby there is a unicorn morning where you can actually get ready. Then you can feel great for a couple hours until it’s off to go swimming with the kids.

Today I used a new mousse that I have been wanting to try and I loved the results. Love the volume it give. I highly highly recommend it

I air dried my hair most of the way and then put the mousse in and used my air wrap. I used the brush air wrap tool first to pull my hair up to give lift. Then curled at the end

FAVORITE BODY WASH

I might might might have found a new body wash I love. When I first tried this I thought, it’s ok. Nothing amazing about it.

But then I started liking it more and more. I love the texture. That’s what I liked right off the bat. I don’t know how to describe it but the texture is good!

The smell is eucalyptus, which is nice but not something I am obsessed with. My first thought was this would be great in an Airbnb. Where you what it to feel and smell like a spa.

So the smell is good.

I love the design and cap on the bottle and one of my favorite things is how fast it comes out even when you have barely any left. You aren’t sitting there for 5 mins waiting on the last of it to come out.

I just ran out of my first bottle and I am going back for seconds!

My kids ask for snacks alllll day long. I was using a ton of ziplocks for snacks on the go and switched to reusable snack bags.

We have learned with our kids and our parenting that it is better to do it in their timing and not ours. With both of our girls we have waited a long time to start potty training them and it has worked out pretty well. Our older has not had an accident…ever.

They started learning when they went to preschool. And we let them tell us if they wanted to wear underwear or a diaper. And slowly over time they wanted to wear a diaper less and less.

These are the items we use in our house. I’ve tried all the little potties and these two are the ones they like.

I buy organic underwear because we have eczema in our family and we try to use items that will not irritate her when it makes sense. Buying organic underwear is an easy change to help her skin.

In our family our girls are very driven by sticker charts and candy! I make very simple sticker charts and hang them on the walls. I still can’t believe how excited they get over putting a sticker on their chart.

At this point I think we have 2 fully potty trained! Such a hard hill to get over but I think we are there. Two more to go!
