It’s one of those nights — game at 5 barely time to breathe, and everyone’s starving. These meatball sliders are our go-to: frozen meatballs, jarred sauce, slider buns, and a slice of mozzarella. Under 20 minutes start to finish, eaten standing up or in the car. No shame, just done.

Cake hack!!!

No I am not a psychopath sticking hot dog buns to my hummingbird cake, it has a purpose! If you have a BIG BEAUTIFUL cake, like this one, and find that you’re not going to eat it as fast as you’d think, pop some bread, or in my case hot dog buns up against the cut side of the cake! This will keep the inside of your cake moist and fresh! Yes, this does waste the hotdog buns— but mine were on their last leg anyway! Don’t judge me!
