Starting snapdragons early is one of my favorite Zone 8a garden hacks 🌱 These cool-weather lovers actually grow stronger with chilly nights and give you armloads of blooms before summer heat hits. 🌸 Start early (January–February for Zone 8a) 🌸 Keep seeds on the soil surface — they need light 🌸 Cool temps = sturdier stems 🌸 Pinch once at 4–6 inches for fuller plants 🌸 Cut often for nonstop blooms 👏 Bonus Growing tips: • Bottom water seedlings to avoid damping off • Use a gentle fan or airflow for strong stems • Don’t overfeed — too much fertilizer = floppy plants • If heat slows them down, cut back hard and wait for fall 🌿 Save this if snapdragons are on your seed list this year 💕 My seed-starting setup is linked. 🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱 gardenwithme instagarden instablooms gardeningtips greenhouse
