I learned this the hard way 😳—your new passport isn’t “safe” until it’s in a zipper passport holder (a zip-around passport wallet). This is one of my go-to travel tips for international travel days: when the airport is chaos and you’re pulling out your passport, ID, and boarding pass, snap/button covers are cute, but your travel documents WILL slip out when you least expect it. A full zipper keeps everything locked in.
