Sometimes I still think I have the body of when I was 20 so I see things and instantly drawn to them but then I remember I’m older now and will that work for me?

Well the answer is yes, you just have to adapt and overcome! Me personally I don’t feel comfortable being too exposed anymore, I prefer to cover my arms and legs. Just by adding a few little extras I can still wear the dress!

If you love your legs then get them out!

I am totally in my separates era right now!

I am enjoying investing in different pieces that I can mix and match in my wardrobe. Sometimes buying separates in better value than a dress that you will only wear once, especially in party season when they are normally a statement in themselves.

2 skirts, 2 tops and showing you how good they are with styling together.

I have to say I am a little in love with the red skirt, I can’t express enough what a beautiful shade it is. It really is a Christmas red! 🎅🏼 the tassel skirt is a great option for a more understated look but still fun!

As for the tops, well I’m sure you have all seen the bow sequin cardigan on the M&S advert and they are hard to find, but if you fine one in your size…buy it! You won’t regret it! I love the velvet waistcoat, it’s a super fit and I know this is going to be so usually in my wardrobe even paired more casual with jeans.

M&S 🍂 Autumn

I know! Another satin skirt, but I didn’t have a brown one, so I had to add to my growing collection. Especially with it being such a big colour trend this season.

I have to say it’s quite nice to ditch the hard blacks for a change and soften it with the warmer chocolate tones, especially as I’m getting older. Black can be aging.

A little inlove with the two tops too! The first one is a great way to add texture to an outfit, it’s sparkly and fluffy and soft! Very cosy vibes. The second, the cardi with the gold bow buttons was just divine! Something so subtle but makes the look.

The boots are just fabulous, I have them in black and worn so much already I needed them in this mink colour to change up my outfits.

I LOVE new look shoes, I find them comfortable and great value. You can grab yourself some on trend footwear for a very reasonable price.

New look at nailing it once again!!

I love it when the dress does half the work for you and looks styled already. Yes it’s a dress, not a skirt and top. Just pop it on with some boots and you are ready! But you can add a cardi too and wear as a skirt! Great investment piece to your wardrobe and very on trend with the leopard print and brown this autumn.
