Cartagena, Day 6. Today we traded the city streets for the sea. A speedboat ride out to the Rosario Islands, the water turning that impossible Caribbean blue the farther we went. We spent the day at Blue Apple Beach Resort — swimming, lounging, and doing absolutely nothing except watching the ocean sparkle in the sun. One of those days where time kind of disappears. The ride back was just as magical, catching the sunset from the speedboat as the sky turned gold over the water. And to finish the day, dinner at El Sombrero Osteria, still salty from the sea and not quite ready for the trip to end. Cartagena gave us the city and the islands — the best of both worlds.
