Battle of the @tartecosmetics Tartelette Tubing Mascara! XL vs. the Original… which one do you prefer? LMK if you’ve tried them in the comments below.

*Quick note, the original tubing mascara that I used is over a month old so it is a bit dryer than the new XL formula. I tend to like my mascara is a little bit dryer in general and feel like they perform best after a week of use. So I’ll keep you posted on the XL mascara after a week!

This might be a little controversial, but, creasing happens…I’ve been a makeup artist for many years and I just want to let you know that there are several ways that you can help prevent creasing, but ultimately, if you have lines or creases underneath your eyes, your concealer will settle overtime. Not a big deal at all! I’m here to share easy and simple ways that might help!

One of the big culprit for creasing is applying too much powder underneath the eyes. This tip is a great way to set your under eyes without having to use powder.

I think next time I’ll use more of a cooler toned bronzer or contour powder — but overall, I loved how soft it looked. You can still wear a lip liner if you want to, but I feel like with this technique, it’s not necessary. This is a great way to add a little sculpt and fullness to your lips without them looking super lined.

Here’s how I like to do winged eyeliner for hooded eyes! I like it soft, smudgy and focused just on the outer part of your eye. We definitely don’t want to take up any lid space so when you keep it on the outer corner of the eye, it’s going to not only elongate eyes, but it’s also going to give you a nice lift!
