What’s the point of lip liner? Lip liner can be used to help shape your lips, make them look fuller, but also, it can help your lip color to stay a lot longer. It gives your lip color some thing to hold onto. For days when I know, I want my lip color to stay, I just fill in my entire lip with the lip liner first, and then I go in with my lip color.

Quick makeup tip of the day! This tip is great for people who don’t like to wear a lot of powder and for us gals over 35 🤗

If you apply your powder directly after you apply your cream or liquid products, your powder could stick to the wet areas on your face and any sort of texture on your skin. Letting your foundation and concealer dry down a bit and marinate on the skin can help prevent patchy and cakey makeup. Plus, you’ll use way less powder!

Come contour with me!

I’m trying out the @westmanatelier contour stick, shade biscuit. I picked it up during the @sephora sale and I’m so glad that I did. I love that it comes in a mini size so I could try it out without investing in the full size!

Contour is definitely personal to each person. Here are the key areas I’d like to focus on: cheekbone, middle of my forehead, my jawline, and around my nose. I like a little bit of shading, but nothing crazy! I just want it to look very soft and natural.
