I’ve been working on my gardens — both in the ground and container — and this one has been doing amazing!

She was pretty small when I got her almost 3 months ago. I planted her in a large terra cotta pot and placed it in a spot which gets at least 6-8 hours of full sun. I water every few days if it hasn’t rained. Her leaves are a soft muted green and she blooms the sweetest little purple flowers.

I’ve seen this plant used as a hedge (which is beautiful!) as well as an upright ornamental tree or topiary. I love to look over in that corner of the garden and see her peaking above the current hedge.

Warmer weather means we need to think about our outdoor spaces for the season. And if new patio or deck furniture isn’t on the horizon, then consider some well-intentioned accessories which can fit the budget instead!
