Dressing Room Diaries The things that goes through my head when considering a purchase. Hope you find it helpful. Bandeau top Have been looking for something like this so was thrilled to see this in the store, and even more thrilled about the split front as often tops like these feel tight round my hips as I have a bum. But sadly, I am in between sizes. The size 8 was too tight and the 10 too large. But it might work for you, definitely worth a try if you’re after a top like this. Very wide leg trousers Absolutely love the shape and how it moves and think it would be a great addition to any wardrobe. My only reservation is the cotton poplin fabric, which means it is likely to crease easily. Which may be a minor technicality that would bother only some of us. Ballon Pants Although Cos has called it barrel leg I am leaning towards balloon as it is rather voluminous. I do love the shape and the drama it brings, but I am not 100 sure that this is a timeless piece. I’ll need to sleep on this, for myself, but if you love the style, this is a gorgeous pair. Leather Jacket A definite wardrobe staple, a timeless piece. I love this because of its boxy and cropped shape. I think it is extremely flattering and the leather is really soft and lovely. The only con for me is the price. At £400 it is rather steep for a high street leather jacket. To be fair, it looks very designer, and has designer details, so if you have the budget, go for it as it is still at least 4 times cheaper than designer leathers. Sleeveless Coat An elegant addition to a spring wardrobe. I think this piece will really smarten up your outfit and it has the added bonus of looking far more expensive than it is. My only concern, and it is a very small one, is that it might crease easily. The fabric is a blend of sustainable ecovero viscose, linen and cotton, so it feels really lovely. And if you don’t mind the odd crease ( it adds character?!), then I don’t see why this should stop you. LTKeurope
