Long weekend sales are still on — and this felt like the perfect moment for a soft spring refresh.

I designed this living room around a curved sofa I absolutely love. The curve makes it feel elegant but never stiff — clean lines, but still inviting. It anchors the whole space without overpowering it.

From there, it’s all about balance:

• A zebra-patterned rug that adds movement without feeling busy
• A rattan accent chair for texture and warmth
• A marble pedestal side table to bring in something cool and sculptural
• Layered lighting — buffet lamps in the back, a smaller table lamp at the side — so the room feels good morning to night

Everything works because of contrast — soft and structured, warm and cool, pattern and restraint.
