To me, the shape has a subtle mid-century modern influence, especially with the sculptural wood frame, while still feeling timeless enough to work with a more traditional sofa. I also love the rich patterned upholstery against the solid burgundy—it gives the room another layer without competing with the sofa. And the rug really completes the palette: the Lulu and Georgia Chiltern Handmade Rug by Jake Arnold in this rich rust tone.
