BLUE JEANS + A WHITE TEE… because some things are worth ignoring the trends for.🤍👖 This has been a favourite outfit since the 80s, when I really started to explore my style (not just wear what mum told me too). The jeans have changed from the high waisted stone wash (who remembers when they came with an actual stone in the pocket?), but the white tee is a classic. Thank goodness the giant perm and industrial-strength hairspray is no longer a thing. And yes, the song choice an 80s favourite, I still know all the words 40 years later. LTKover50style

H&M – Keep or Return?

1. Khaki Maxi Skirt – Such a good find! Lightweight, a great length and pockets. Enough said.

2. Jacquard Skirt – I know… it gave me Grandma’s couch vibes. But here’s the twist, I actually loved it! It was so floaty, comfortable and easy to wear that I could almost overlook the upholstery resemblance.

3. White Denim – My favourite of the lot. I loved it so much I wore it to work today, which is always the sign of a keeper.

Sizing: Small in all the skirts (true to size).

So which one gets your vote? And be honest, does the jacquard skirt remind you of Grandma’s couch too, or is that just me?

UNIQLO outfit under $150.00 and they offer free alterations!!

Bought all of these pieces yesterday, as a shorty the option of getting my pants shortened for free is amazing.

They offer in store and online alterations. In store you just need to let staff know when trying on that you want to get them shortened and they will come in and measure them for you. Once done you take to the checkout, pay and they will let you know when they will be ready. I only had to wait an hour - this blows my mind, such great service.

Jeans come in different washes, had plenty of sizes in store.

Popped out to the shops this afternoon, so easy dressing was required as I was trying on clothes, and the on/off in the changing room is exhausting 😜.

Yes… another striped shirt. Apparently, I have a type. 😂

I’ve paired this one with white jeans and tan accessories for a fresh, summery feel. And before anyone says, “But it’s winter!”… I live in Queensland. Sunny, mild days mean this outfit still gets plenty of wear.

Shirt is very oversized - I went down to a sz 4, I would usually be a sz 10.

How many stripe shirts is too many - asking for a friend.

Off to the Dayboro Show, it was such a beautiful winters day and it was lovely to walk around country show. Hubby was determined to have a Dagwood Dog - they are a show food staple.
