I did something a little unconventional for the outdoor sconces in the front entryway. we concealed all the hardwiring and in the sconces before installing and then I just used a rechargeable bulb. We already have adequate lighting at the top, and these were just for added ambiance and look, and I didn’t plan/nor did I want to go through the hassle of hardwiring. When I love a sconce, this is the best solution for me personally. So buy that scone and just get a rechargeable bulb. I promise it’s worth it.
