Okay, I wouldn’t actually recommend wearing bare legs at most ski resorts at this time of year - but this series isn’t about actual resort looks - it’s about doing everything EXCEPT for skiing in your winter fashion. So - I present to you a totally practical outfit for running errands and going to lunch in Denver. I know it’s perfect because it genuinely works great for me. No dissenters, please. Case closed.

I remember one year when I was in college, I was working at Forever 21 (I know, right?) and I was scheduled to work on Xmas eve- even though I had requested the day off (and it was approved) and I ended up going in to work after all. At the end of my shift I bought a vest that looked just like this one and thought it was the wildest thing ever and had no clue if I could actually pull it off. Lol look how far we have come. Anyhow- it would totally still fit, but I gave it away years ago because I felt intimidated by wearing it - so I rented this one and am laughing at how easy it is to style. So, a reminder to myself that the version of you that wears or does the next intimidating thing is out there in the future - start today and they will be here sooner than you’d expect.
