Après - Look 12 A curated style series I remember one year when I was in college, I was working at Forever 21 (I know, right?) and I was scheduled to work on Xmas eve- even though I had requested the day off (and it was approved) and I ended up going in to work after all. At the end of my shift I bought a vest that looked just like this one and thought it was the wildest thing ever and had no clue if I could actually pull it off. Lol look how far we have come. Anyhow- it would totally still fit, but I gave it away years ago because I felt intimidated by wearing it - so I rented this one and am laughing at how easy it is to style. So, a reminder to myself that the version of you that wears or does the next intimidating thing is out there in the future - start today and they will be here sooner than you’d expect. This capsule is a fun exploration of Apres-ski-coded fashion repurposed for general winter moments, regardless of where you are. While I was born in Denver, and have spent most of my life living here, I have never skied. I never plan to ski. I do not want to ski. There is a joke amongst some communities here that you know the true locals based on who DOESN’T ski. I do, however, love a retro winter aesthetic, so this series is my tribute to being too busy doing other things to ever ski.
