This weekend my mom and I stopped by the Broadmoor for lunch to celebrate my birthday and it was finally warm enough for me to wear my Original Jacks! The fabric on this top is SO COOL. It’s shiny but still a bit stretchy and much softer than I would expect. Fit is true to size - I am wearing the 12.
There are matching pants and I found them to run a bit small.

This top and skirt set are ADORABLE. It was love at first sight for me.
Fit on the top is true to size but the skirt (also linked) runs small! I sized up for both length and comfort.

A curated style series

I used to look at dresses like this on fashion bloggers that I admired and loved the look, but genuinely thought that it wasn’t for me. Some of the barrier was the price. I was young, an actor working multiple jobs, and not very savvy about where to buy clothing. The other element of the barrier was that I just couldn’t see myself “fitting in” or being the kind of person who wore designer fashion. Luckily we can reinvent ourselves many times over and I am always open to expanding the definition of who I am.
