I was thrilled to hear that pillbox hats are having their moment, because I am a huge fan. I have a small collection of pillbox hats that were passed down from my grandma and they are EPIC (this is one of them.) I actually chose to wear it backwards because I am an adult and can do whatever I want. 😉

On the surface this series looks like spring outings, Easter eggs and blooms starting to rise from the ground - but it’s actually about gender expression. lol yeah, I’m complex like that. I wanted to create a series featuring the variety of silhouettes and shapes that speak to me in my own wardrobe, all inspired by my own relationship to gender and the beauty of being a unique person on this planet.

This top and skirt set are ADORABLE. It was love at first sight for me.
Fit on the top is true to size but the skirt (also linked) runs small! I sized up for both length and comfort.

I wore this look for breakfast and a day of shopping while on vacation in Grand Cayman. I can’t get enough of this scarf bag. 😻

The fabric on this top is SO COOL. It’s shiny but still a bit stretchy and much softer than I would expect. Fit is true to size - I am wearing the 12.
There are matching pants and I found them to run a bit small.

I used to look at dresses like this on fashion bloggers that I admired and loved the look, but genuinely thought that it wasn’t for me. Some of the barrier was the price. I was young, an actor working multiple jobs, and not very savvy about where to buy clothing. The other element of the barrier was that I just couldn’t see myself “fitting in” or being the kind of person who wore designer fashion. Luckily we can reinvent ourselves many times over and I am always open to expanding the definition of who I am.
