My taste has remained quite consistent throughout time - especially when it comes to the most obvious pieces in an outfit, like this dress - I can see myself having loved this at pretty much any time in my past. It always would have caught my eye. However, the way I would style it today is definitely different than how I would have styled it in the past. I think this is such a great example of how important it is to honor your current preferences and get dressed in a way that genuinely makes you smile rather than following other people’s rules (even if that other person is you from the past!) Today, your signature thing can be statement earrings and a year from now your signature thing can be super cool voluminous hair in 10 years from now your signature thing can be both of those at the same time (or neither!)
