Linen suiting is a closet staple. I’ve had mine for 3+ years so I’m linking similar investment styles below. White and cream always look chic so that’s where I like to start when building a collection. Yes, linen wrinkles, but it’s also soft, and has drape, and breaths to keep you cool in the muggy DC summer heat. I get mine dry cleaned and starched to keep it as fresh as possible.

This particular button down is from JCrew - don’t be afraid to size up, this one is a size 10 (I’m usually a 6). A relaxed button down will feel at home tucked into work pants as well as with a pair of shorts on vacation. Two for one!

Friday night shenanigans on the boat!⚡️🪩 Wearing my go-to white bikini. On the Solid and Striped website, it’s sold as a yellow “buttercream” but I find the color is a true cream irl, which compliments my warm undertones. The mini skirt is one of my fav Ref finds, because of the color and the hardware, it helps the linen fabric feel transitional, so you don’t feel weird wearing it outside of the summer months.

Every boat girl knows the important distinction between your boat glasses and your nice glasses. As the girl physics law goes: if you wear cheap glasses, you will never lose them.
