When Ellie started putting makeup ALL OVER her face! 😅🙈 backstory ::: Kay had a work trip to LA for a podcast, and just got back. When we got home Ellie was already asleep, so the next morning I got Ellie up and when Kay came down after getting ready, I captured them seeing each other again! 💜 Ellie was so happy to see Kay and even said that she missed her! 🥹 Ellie immediately wanted to show Kay that she got a package because lately her favorite thing to do with Kay is open up our PR packages! 😂 So She guided Kay to it to see what was inside. It was some bathing suits and some “momma makeup” and Ellie really wanted to wear some. She put it on her face and it was so cute! Ellie was so excited to be wearing some momma makeup and being with Kay again! 🥹

Her face when the REAL mermaid waved at her! 🥹😂 backstory ::: Ellie is in her mermaid era. She loves mermaid movies, and toys, and sticker books. So when we heard that there were real mermaids in Dallas, we knew we had to take Ellie!

We got up early and got her and Sutton dressed in mermaid clothes, and then we went to the aquarium (@sealifegrapevine) that had the mermaids!

When we got there, Ellie got her own mermaid tail, and then we walked through and looked at fish. Then we finally made it to the mermaids and Ellie was so excited! I am sure that this will be a core memory for her, and she’ll always remember the time she met a real mermaid! 🥹🧜‍♀️

Should we open up our walls? 😳🫠 backstory ::: I was dusting the baseboards, which we haven’t done in a long time, and she noticed something behind a blanket basket in our room. The window looks like it is separating and there is a dark spot in the corner of the window! 😳

We decided to start looking around at other windows and found another spot on one more window!

Now we are worried that we may be dealing with a mold problem! So we are going to have to figure out who we need to call to get this looked at! 😓

We have been sleeping next to this window, so hopefully it hasn’t been there long! 🫣

She’s SO SMART! 🥹❤️ backstory ::: Tay and I have been trying to teach Ellie about the alphabet and how each letter sounds. I got her a surprise which was a tracing board for her to learn how to trace each letter while learning what each letter sounds like. We showed her and she showed us how much she has learned so far! She’s so smart and is always wanting to learn new things! ❤️🥹

It’s so nice to see the progress she’s making and that she loves to show us what she learns! It’s crazy to think that 2 years ago she was barely even sitting up and was doing sit practice ! 🥹

Her giggles and growls at the end! 😂😅 backstory ::: Tay and I noticed some lumps coming in the other day in Sutton’s mouth. We thought for sure that she was going to get her top tooth first because of how big the top lumps are, but the bottom 2 snuck up and popped out! Now Sutton officially has 2 teeth! 🥹

She is growing up so fast! I can’t believe she already has teeth! It feels like she was just born yesterday. She was so excited and giggly about her new teeth, and has been so happy. Maybe she’s having some relief in her mouth now that they have broke through! She’s so cute with her 2 little teeth! I am so excited for her to try little teeter biscuits now! 🥹🤩

My face at the end! 😂😅 backstory ::: I was playing downstairs with Ellie and Sutton when Sutton started trying to clap. I called Tay down from the office and told him that she was clapping her hands together!

At first Sutton was just kind of vibing, and then she started clapping so much! 🥹 She for some reason would clap every time I would sing “if you’re happy and you know it” and it was the cutest thing! 🥹 Ellie also had to show off some of her clapping skills 😂❤️

To kick off the summer, Tay surprised me with a spa day! After Kins and I had an appointment to get our nails done, he drove up to my favorite med spa! We went in and waited for my friend Holly to finish with a patient and then we went back! Tay left to run some errands for a while and finally came back when the spa day was finished! ❤️ I felt so relaxed and I’m ready for the summer break with Kins! ☀️🤩

I think Sutton liked them! 😂🥹 backstory ::: Tay and I went to our food lab and worked with our food scientist to enhance our bars from the first launch, and we have been so excited to taste them after they came out of production. We went to the factory and checked everything out, but weren’t able to take any bars home with us. So we had some shipped and they finally arrived to try! We worked on making them more moist and sweeter, and we lowered the sugar and raised the fiber, so now these bars are SO good! I tried the dark chocolate flavor and loved it! Then we let Sutton have a try and she loved it too! We are so excited for the re-release because these bars are like another baby to us and we aren’t going to stop until we have the best bar ever! (Both best tasting and best for you) 💜👋

Sutton’s face when she got her FIRST big girl car seat! 🥹🥰 backstory ::: We were invited to attend the ABC Kids Expo in Vegas this year which is the BIGGEST expo in the US for baby/kids products. We are so excited because being parents to 2 babies, we spend a lot of time researching baby products, and we couldn’t wait to meet the teams behind each one. First we stopped at Itzy Ritzy which has my favorite teethers! I have so many for the babies, and was on cloud 9 to see them all in one place! They gave us one to surprise Sutton with and it was so cute! Next we stopped at Bibs because they had a cute booth with giant baby pacifiers! The pacifier box combo caught my eye immediately and I went on and on about how smart it was! 😂😂 Then we stopped by Stokke and they noticed Sutton and surprised her with her FIRST big girl stroller! We put Sutton in and she was immediately so happy! 😂🤩 Then they showed us how it snaps open and my mind was blown. 😂 We went to many other booths and the vibes were just amazing. Everyone was so excited and passionate about their baby products, and we had an amazing time! Definitely putting ABC Kids Expo on our bucket list for next year! 🤩 @theabcshow

backstory ::: We got invited again this year to the ACM Awards! I wasn’t sure what I’d wear and so I asked for help. We traveled to Vegas for the award show with the dress I picked and on the day of, Tay finally got to see the full look! I felt so beautiful and confident in this dress! 🥹❤️ The award show ended up being so fun, and it was such an amazing night together!

Tay and I haven’t been on a dinner and show date night in 2 years, and we had a day that we could finally go. So we decided to go eat and then go see a cirque du Soleil show. (We went to O). Neither of us had ever seen the show and were blown away by how cool it was! 🤩 It was so nice to have a night out together just as the two of us. I hope that next time we do another date night, it’s sooner than 2 years from now 😅

I love this hotel so much! 🤩 backstory ::: We had to go to Vegas for a work trip, and Tay thought that we might as well stay at my favorite hotel! I fell in love with this hotel last year when we stayed here for our Backstreet Boys concert, and was so happy to be back. It has an Venice theme to it and is very ornate. When we opened the door I was so excited to see the room even though I’ve been here before. Everything was perfect except the view, but that’s ok! 😅
