Do you think I can hang this sliding mirror door by myself? 🤓 This whole side of my house was an addition in the 70s. When they designed the primary suite, they really did the bathroom a disservice. The 3 things that stuck out to me the most were: 1. There was only 1 sink. 2. The bathroom sink was off centered on the vanity. 3. The door opened straight into the toilet. Today we are focused on action item 3. There wasn’t room for a pocket door and it’s not in the budget to expand this space, so I decided on a ‘barn’ door with less emphasis on barn. I wanted a full length mirror in the space as well and thought this would be a perfect place to have both of these needs met with one solution. ✨ Feng Shui Tip - Never have a mirror face your bed when you’re sleeping. This includes tvs - so covering them when you sleep can be helpful to rest. It is believed that mirrors can create scattered energy during sleep inviting bad dreams, restless sleep, 3rd party interference in a relationship or doubling your lonliness if you’re by yourself. ✨ I still have to paint the trim and the door. Also possibly find a door handle I love, but overall I’m super happy with this project 🙌🏼
