It’s the small moments every day that I relish. Getting dressed. Slipping into my favorite cashmere sweater. My feet being hugged by a soft leather loafer that has that worn in feel even though they are new. These are the moments I pause for each day. Because once I walk out the door, life takes over - the hustle, the hustle, the fires to put out.

But mornings are for me. And they should be for you, too!

I swapped out my slingback heel for an elevated flat slingback, added a belt and a clutch.

My holy grail for at-home skin care. I have been using La Roche Posay moisturizer for years. It’s hydrating but not sticky or oily. And super affordable!

Routine:

I start with Skinceuticals C E Ferulic® with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, followed by P-Tiox (it’s like Botox in a bottle and much safer), then I put on one pump of Advanced RGN-6, which is designed to reverse visible signs of aging.

I then finish with my moisturizer. I have noticed significant benefits since starting these products last year. They are pricey, but totally worth it. And these bottles last 3-4 months, so while the initial cost is high, the products last a good bit.

What I wore for afternoon tea at The Plaza Hotel. I’ve had this dress over a year and it is my most worn. You can easily change the look by adding a belt, a cardigan, a jacket or blazer. I travel with this dress and it rarely wrinkles.

Under $50, which makes it budget friendly.

When ever I travel I do two very important things:

1. I never wear or bring anything expensive. I even swap out my wedding bands for something similar. I learned this lesson the hard way in my early twenties when a ring slipped off my finger at a beach. I was devastated.

2. All jewelry travels in this case. Then, once at my destination and I remove my jewelry before bed, it all goes in a glass at the hotel. Once I shower in the morning, everything goes back on.

If no glasses are provided, I use a coffee cup or request one.

I never leave jewelry on a nightstand as the hotel room is unfamiliar territory - some nightstands being very close to the bed or higher to the bed where things could accidentally get bumped at night and fall on the floor.

This serves as a nice “catch all” for jewelry I will want to wear throughout my travels.

💎Always leave delicate chains or bracelets draped over the edge of the glass so that they do not become tangled.

💎When keeping jewelry in the bathroom, be mindful of the sink. I never handle any jewelry over the sink area ever. Too risky.

I wear most of these pieces daily while traveling and they have held up incredibly well to wear (showers, pools, beaches, etc.)
