When picking out a toddler shoe or sandal, there’s a lot of things that we look for as pediatric physical therapists. We look for: - a semi flexible sole, - a supportive heel cup, - a wide toe box, and - adjustable straps or laces This is because your little one’s arches aren’t finished developing until they’re around 6-7 years old, so the shoes we pick for the really matter.
